Hey, guys, welcome to my new blog, very unoriginally called "The Band of Corwin". I'll probably change that later... First of all, I just want to say that I've never done this before, so I don't know what I'm doing. Please bear with me while I get the hang of it. Secondly, this blog is going to be an outlet for all our ideas and imaginings concerning the world we once planned to create, and which I am going to write myself for the One Year Adventure Novel, or OYAN for short. This writing program, made by a very good author Mr. Schawbouer, is helping me learn all about how to write an exciting adventure novel. So I'll be posting ideas, your character profiles, and possibly chapters someday. Thirdly, don't be afraid to say anything! This story isn't all mine. Part of you is in too, and I need all the feedback I can get. Finally, for the story itself, here is a brief overview:
The place is Earth, but our modern world is nowhere to be found. Powerful technology in the hands of warring superpowers caused most of the world's population to die. and It seemed like the now black Earth had come to its end.
Hundreds of years later, nature has taken over again, the continents have slid together on the opposite side of the world, and the Old World has been all but forgotten. Six Tribes live on one side, simply and peacefully. However, from the other continent arose an empire called Akremia, whose leader Grid has resurrected the technology of old, and plans to use it to put all the Tribes under his control. Enter the Band: Kari, Adara, Katonna, Rhodes, Blue Shell, Gabriel, and Judah. Representatives from all the Tribes, they are Corwin's only chance at freedom. Together they must find a way to unite the Tribes to stand against Akremia's might. Yet even that might not be enough to stop Grid...
